Training and Education Program

Education at Autumn Aged Care

Everyone at Autumn Aged Care is encouraged and given the opportunity to learn and to develop their skills and knowledge through our training program that incorporates clinical best practise, induction into the organisation, health and safety, open disclosure, dignity of risk, diversity and much more – all of which aim to improve personal, interpersonal and professional skills. This education is delivered through group sessions, face to face, self directed or through external providers.

New personnel at Autumn Aged Care are allocated to a mentor through our Mentoring Program. The mentoring program prepares the new staff member for the role they will perform in caring for our residents. Our mentors are experienced personnel who are enthusiastic and willing to teach and personnel are guided through the program for the first three months of their employment.
