Development Program – Director of Nursing and Managers

As part of keeping staff valued, engaged and happy, Autumn Aged Care seeks to develop our own staff and promote from within. By doing this we are able to nurture a caring, compassionate, progressive and customer focussed organisational culture. Our approach is to recruit well and development within and our formal structures to help us achieve staff growth:

Participants complete a mentor program to prepare them to reach their full potential. Candidates undertake a range of projects and roles to achieve this including :

  • Development and improvement project initiatives,
  • Exposure to all our formal management structures,
  • Personal one-on-one mentoring with senior staff,
  • Relieving home Director of Nursing’s and Managers and
  • Assume responsibility for part of roles to develop confidence and experience in readiness to assume a permanent role.
