While caring for our residents with vision or hearing loss, carers have to be aware of how to communicate effectively. As communicating in these instances can be difficult, it takes patience to ensure that both the resident and the carer can adequately communicate their requirements. Our experienced care team have been provided with the necessary training to support residents with hearing and/or vision impairment and support them to reach a higher quality of life

Referrals to specialist services for hearing and sight are made as assessed.
