The Autumn Aged Care Melbourne Executive Leadership Team consists of six residential aged care professionals – including the owner, five executives and a practising Aged Care Quality Expert. Our team brings together combined expertise in a range of relevant fields, including care, risk and business management, leadership and governance, quality and compliance, facility development, guiding the Group to achieving excellence in residential aged care operations and service delivery.

With significant healthcare experience in strategic, managerial and operational roles spanning the last 15 years, predominantly in residential aged care and the private hospital system, Ross founded Autumn Aged Care in 2005. He has developed it into one of Melbourne’s leading aged care providers, with an exemplary reputation for excellence and customer service. Prior to establishing Autumn Aged Care Ross worked in business development with Healthscope Limited, working mostly on business acquisition (including some 30 hospital acquisitions), integration, operational management and business improvement. Ross has learnt that culture and leadership are critical to delivering outstanding healthcare services. By working full time within the service he is able to lead from the front and better understand the changing needs of the customer and the workforce to ensure that Autumn Aged Care can continue to adapt and thus maintain its status as a leading industry service provider.

Kim has worked with Autumn Aged Care since 2009. With close to 30 years residential aged care experience, Kim has undertaken a broad range of nursing roles including Registered Nurse in Charge and Director and for the past five years Executive Director of Nursing. Kim is passionate about resident outcomes and care and is unfailingly pragmatic in her ability to match our workforce skills, organisaitonal policies and work processes to systematically deliver high standards of care. Kim is extremely customer focused and advocates making each moment a meaningful opportunity to connect with residents. Highly educated and exceedingly energetic and personal, Kim leads Autumn Aged Care in care and culture. Kim splits her time visiting our homes and working with staff to overcome challenges and working on new programs and initiatives from the executive office. Kim has a unique ability to innovate and lead practice change while motivating and inspiring the workforce. Kim brings a happy, optimistic, energetic professionalism with her approach and few aged care professionals could match her CV.

Michelle is an aged care professional with a passion for healthcare operations and quality improvement. She has worked for Autumn Aged Care since 2009. With a background in university library systems, Michelle understands the need for systematic organisation and point of use access to information. Michelle oversees the homes’ quality programs including monitoring and reporting systems, quality outcomes via an extensive suite of Key Performance Indicators and audit results, continuous improvement, legislative compliance and staff education. Michelle takes pride in our responsiveness in resolving issues and improving service, while at the same time sharing with staff the significant positive feedback we receive from residents and families. Michelle has extensive community engagement through her sporting and volunteer coaching activities with several prominent and successful netball clubs.
John has worked with Autumn Aged Care since 2007 and his previous experience includes an accountant role with Pricewaterhouse Coopers. John monitors the financial management of each home, ensuring sound financial management. John worked with Ross back in 2000 while Ross was a Director and then subsequently the Chairman of the Board of the Tenants Union of Victoria (TUV). Ross asked John to be the Executive Finance Manager of Autumn Care when he left the TUV. John is not only an accomplished Finance Executive but also a great teacher and leader. John has a hands-on approach and personal experience with a loved one receiving services from Autumn Aged Care. John gives significant personal time to rehoming greyhounds with his work with Greyt Greys Rescue.

With an extensive professional background in executive management, lecturing, customer service, public relations and marketing for an array of organisations, Sandi holds a unique collection of professional skills that will enable her to play a key role in the future of Autumn Aged Care. Her community spirit has been recognised with numerous local, state and national awards and she has received nominations for the Pride of Australia Medal and the Telstra Business Women’s Awards in honour of her many volunteer commitments. Sandi is strongly committed to caring for the community and upholding the strongest of ethical and empowerment values in any organisation she works with.
Responsible for business and administration functions within Autumn Aged Care, Sandi leads a team of dedicated Managers with hands-on customer service approach. The business and administration function within Autumn Aged Care is one of many unsung hero areas that support residents in Living Well.

Don has been a Quality Director with Autumn Aged Care since 2008. His career in aged care, spanning 25 years, has been included management at both the facility and corporate levels. Don has also spent the past ten years as an external assessor with the Aged Care Quality Agency (AACQA) and has post-graduate qualifications in teaching and business management. He continues to act as a consultant to industry providers and his work with Autumn Aged Care has set the platform for unblemished governance and quality record built on a progressive approach to improving service quality.
